Our Safety Commitment: No Compromise

At InPwr Inc., safety forms the foundation of every project. From the initial scope definition through completion, we integrate comprehensive safety protocols designed to prevent—but prepare for—accidents and provide long-term protection not only for our own staff, but also for our clients and any site users in the future.

Do The Right Thing

In order to stay in front of the electrical design and contracting industry, we realize the importance of timely and thorough execution. And yet, as a company, we foster a strong ethic in our teams to do the right thing—and that includes building in enough time to design and integrate stringent safety protocols and hazard prevention processes tailored to each facility and job site. This commitment requires us to innovate and be even more creative in our planning and execution, but that’s just part of our determination to build things better.

InPwr Safety

Focused Oversight

InPwr Inc.’s Safety Program is continually evolving to ensure that our work meets or exceeds the latest construction industry safety and health standards. Safety is of the utmost importance, and it is at the forefront of every job and project. It begins in our New Hire Safety Orientation and continued through specialty courses on OSHA, confined spaces, fall protection, and more. It is then reinforced daily with field inspections, weekly toolbox training by our project managers, and continuous oversight by our Safety Director.

We gauge our safety performance through first and foremost ensuring our team members return home healthy each and every night. We then review industry metrics to rank and improve our performance metrics. One measurement is the Experience Modification Rate (EMR), and over the last five years, we have held below the industry average of 1.0, with 2017 hitting a recent record low of 0.72 and 2018 maintaining at 0.84. Another important indicator is our OSHA annual 300A summary of work-related injuries and illnesses; proudly we have continuously improved our ranking through the years, with absolutely no injuries reported in 2017 and 2018 to date.

Safety is more significant than the customer’s projects or mission; it comes down to the people we employ, the industry we represent, and the integrity we hold.
