Rockin’ it at the Food Bank of the Rockies

Our Denver team recently took a break from the toolbelts and building plans to rock it out at the Food Bank of the Rockies!

The Food Bank of the Rockies (FBR) has been “fighting hunger and feeding hope since 1978,” and our team was honored to volunteer in the distribution of food to families in need. Working at one of FBR’s local warehouses and distribution centers, Denver loaded 63,575 pounds of food onto pallets, equating to roughly 254,300 meals! A Virtual Food Drive was then held, where they reached 134% of their financial goal.

“I love that our entire team could come together and physically contribute. It not only benefits the Food Bank, but it strengths our team as a whole, talking about the experience for weeks.”

Katie Hobbs, Denver Office Manager
InPwr and Food Bank of the Rockies

We’re proud of our local contribution and the chance to partner up with an incredible organization! FBR is the largest private hunger-relief organization in Colorado, and it has provided more than 668 million meals in its 40+ years of service. They distribute approximately 145,000 meals each day through their programs and agencies, with 50% of those meals going to children. With 112 employees and more than 23,000 volunteers, we are able to help our neighbors thrive. Together.

Great job rockin’ it, Denver! You’re making a true InPwr Impact.
